Dumps & landfills in Connecticut

Connecticut has no county government, so dumping is handled town by town. Most transfer stations are open to that town's residents only, with a permit, sticker or proof of address, and many charge by weight or by item for bulky waste. Hours, permit rules and fees live on each town's website, so check the town before you drive. Larger cities such as Stamford, Hartford and Manchester block automated lookups, so their entries are basic listings.
