Independent. Practical. Checkable.

Before you load the truck.

Where Is the Dump helps you compare disposal facilities using official county, city, and operator information. Check who can use a facility, what it accepts, and what a visit may cost.

How we verify

We check official county and operator pages for access, hours, accepted items, and fees. Each guide links to its sources and shows the date those details were last checked.

A partial listing has confirmed facility information but still has gaps. “Call to confirm” means a detail could not be confirmed; it does not mean “no” or “free.”

Call before you go

The open-now badge uses the posted weekly schedule and the facility’s local time. Holiday closures, weather, seasonal changes, capacity limits, and last-load cutoffs can override those hours.

An accepted item can still carry a normal load charge. Item prices may be additional, and resident-only allowances do not apply to everyone.
